Feasibility study Gothikhola micro-hydro
ITDG Nepal completed
a detailed feasibility study of a 50 kW Gothikhola micro-hydro
scheme in the Humla district. The study was funded by UK
based Nepal Trust which is working in Humla district for
the last ywo years mainly in the health sector. The micro-hydro
scheme, after installation, will provide lighting facility
to around 500 households and agro-processing and other energy
related services to about 750 households
